Below are the points of today’s discussions on a high
level:

We have started our session by reading an
article "How much Money is enough Money" in op-ed column of The Hindu
newspaper.
·
Had discussion on the topic Literature/Language
and women.
·
Have learnt some words how they are
distinguished as to be masculine and feminine, for example human being -
masculine, love - feminine.
·
Learnt the difference between Thanks vs. Thank
You.
·
Learnt about Vargheese Kurien, he was the
founder of IRMA (Institute of Rural Management Anand).
·
Milk taken directly from the cow has a different
temperature.
·
No calf will drink milk from another cow,
excepting from her mother.
·
First white revolution in India was started by
Lord Krishna.
·
Learnt the essence of Dhyana Sloka of Bhagawad
Gita.
·
Gita is compared to Milk and Lord Krishna had taken
this milk (Gita) from the Cow (Upanishads).
·
Learnt about Gyanamudra this is also known as
Chin mudra, Gitamudra.
·
Former SPG chief Wanchoo is the present Governor
of Goa.
·
To be just, not fear.
·
Had a discussion about Mathrubhoomi newspaper.
·
Never try to be like a role model, instead take
the role models into you, but customize.

Swami Vedabharathi (Dr T P Sasikumar sir's Guruji).

Agnachakram is the closest part to us in our
body.

Applying sandal wood paste on Agnachakram is as
good as applying it in the whole body.
·
Had a discussion regarding ISRO, 100th mission
of ISRO which was launched successfully on 09/09/2012.
·
SPOT Satellite is the first satellite that could
be tiltable in the sky. It is a French Satellite.
·
Temperature difference between center of the
earth to different layers could be used for generation of electricity and this
concept is called Geo - Thermal energy production, which is only theoretical
but not practical.
·
Generating electricity from wave energy was also
never practical.
·
Saving electricity is very dangerous.
·
Fiscal means Financial Year.
·
Learnt about Fiscal budget, Deficit budget.
·
Afghanistan is famous for Maximum Opium
Cultivation.
·
Summit means Meeting which happens
Internationally.
·
CIBIL report tells about the credit history of a
person.
·
Creating opinion is the mode of reading
newspaper.
·
Difference between Goal and Aim.
·
Union Ministers are called Cabinet Ministers as
well as Central Ministers.
·
Ministers of State are called Central Ministers
but not Cabinet Ministers.

Ministers of State are like deputy to the Union
Ministers.

Things I've learnt :
- Difference between Linguistics in Women to Literature in Women by
some examples like Gentle is used generally with men and Love is used
with women.
- etc., is a word used to any living being other than Human beings.
- One should use Thank You instead of Thanks when dealing with a
single person. Thanks is used to address a group of people.
- IRMA - Institute of Rural Management Anand is one of the greatest
institutes and has a good campus.
- Water is mixed in milk to prolong its purity. The real milk (not
mixed with water) will get spoiled after 1 hour.
- Lord Krsna(great grand father of Laloo) as the 1st white
revolutionist as relating to Verghese Kurien who passed away yesterday
at the age of 90.
- Sir related Upanishads as Cow and Gita(or knowledge) as Milk and
extraction of Milk from Cow as extracting Knowledge from Upanishads.
- " To be just, fear not "
- SPG - Special Protection Group - Head - B V Waanchoo named as
Governor for Goa at the age of 84.
- SPOT was the first satellite from France which had tilted cameras to view.
- Creating Opinion should be the goal of reading Newspaper.
- One should not have bad thoughts and always be an optimist.
- Parallax is the position where in different objects change when seen
from different directions.
- There are no space companies in India. The ultimate one in India is the ISRO.
- Antris - is the commercial wing of ISRO.
- While reading newspaper,everyone has a view and a reader should also
have his own view.
- Science & Technology is the only sector under Prime Minister from
the days of Jawaharlal Nehru.
- Learnt about fiscal year and fiscal deficit.
- Sachin Pilot - Minister of State in the Ministry of Communications
and Information Technology.
- One's aim in reading newspaper should be to collect 3 international
news, 3 national news and 3 from every column at least.
