The dream and the speed were matching.. and I decided to make a last try.. Expected over 100 students for the Holiday Session with enlightened speakers from north, east and west of India were in plan..
Though the team had put intense effort, as people in this part are expert in making unexpected to be practically in place.. too thin was the response.
…. A step ahead was decided to make a long walk from April 8th to 30th ….
Good group of enthusiastic children from near and far, I guess, they all enjoyed being with me, Anitha, Dr.Jana, Charulatha, Sudha, Sachin, Sunil, Kotarathil Narendran, Remiya, Raji, Kavitha, Srikumar et. al… A few more are expected to join in the next few days…
What is taught when someone asked; I heard Ramkumar saying ‘ask what is not taught’.
When Sunil says his son Rahul is up from bed early and shows enthusiasum to come to the class despite his normal lazy late wakeup, that too in the holidays; he was eager to meet me; that is a life achievement…

..... where science is taught by brilliant scientists and passionate researchers who are privileged to rub shoulders with the visionaries that lead our nation.. where film making is taught by award winning directors...literature by novelists and poets whose poetry leap out as flames that enthrall the child.. where children ask endless questions and classes may go on at a stretch for 22 hours - at the end of which children are reluctant to go home... where subjects are learnt not just for securing marks or grades but out of love for the subject.. where curiosity culminates in seemingly effortless discovery.. where rocket science and mimicry are equally thrilling and fun.. where concern for your team mates is as valued as your skill in maths.. where modern technology and ancient wisdom hold each other in endearing embrace..where the highest standards are set for education and career goals in an atmosphere that nurtures the deepest qualities of character and heart..... where the highest, most cherished prize - lovingly given and eagerly accepted- is a warm hug from the teacher... where young hearts soar higher and higher on the wings of lofty thoughts and aspirations...
Indeed for many parents, teachers and students a class like this can only be imagined.
As a teacher of 16 years experience I too have often dreamt about it.

SHIKSHA dreams of creating a World of Wellness by introducing the right ambience for every aspiring child and to empower them to grow healthy in body, mind and soul. This empowerment would reflect in every aspect of their life making them stand apart in any field they reach.
Moulding a child at the right age helps them to have a clear vision, mission and understanding that takes them to greater heights. This can be effective only with the help of a great master who has already in such a path.
Initially health alone was considered as wealth, then came the importance of intelligence (IQ). But most of the individuals still lack the main aspects of life i.e. importance of attitude, behaviour and a balanced mental health (EQ). In today’s world the need for soul enhancement is also an important feature (SQ). So putting it all together only makes a person perfect/whole individual.
SHIKSHA aspires to sow such seeds in the young minds and provide the right guidance to help every child grow to a high state of wholeness and to produce perfect individuals of tomorrow who shall dwell in Love, Peace, and Harmony and make this world a better place to live in. SHIKSHA – A GREAT EXPERIENCE
When we walked into this course, we realised our potential was just like a flame. We are now touching the sky with our wings majestically open to the winds carrying us the ever so forward in our journey of life. We have experienced the bodies of flight, falling a thousand times rising every time and now we are still learning to fly. Flights of short lengths move us forward for the flight that will not land. We have great time with Dr. T.P.Sasikumar Sir, exchanging views on various subjects. He taught us that to learn history our first step should be to learn the history of our locality, then our State, and then our Nation.

SHIKSHA EXPERIENCE
To be the students of SHIKSHA we felt some of the best experiences in our lives. We got lots of opportunities to bring out our hidden talents. This course contains the skills that happen in our lives.
Before entering the class we thought that it would be very boring but after attending we realised that our thoughts were wrong. We got a lot of knowledge from here which we could utilise in our future. When we entered we were like buds and by gathering the knowledge we were able to grow into flowers that could be useful to everyone giving out pleasant fragrance.
In our course we learned new games and met personalities with great knowledge. It was a very nice experience here spending time with Dr. T.P.Sasikumar sir, Anitha Miss, Dr.Jana and others - -
