Below are the points of today’s discussions on a high level:
·         Our discussion started with the main news in the today's Hindu Newspaper i.e., a statement by General Liang of China which says "China has never deployed a single soldier in PoK: Liang." We have learnt from Chachu that whenever there is such a statement made by a different Nation, there will be a statement made by India in retaliation. For example for the above statement, the statement made in retaliation by A.K.Anthony, the Defence Minister of India was "No Chinese Intrusion in Last 3 years: Antony".
·         A K Antony also reiterated before parliament that India has asked China to cease the infrastructure development it is undertaking in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. Here the main point to understand is that the army people (of China) are involved in the development of Infrastructure.
·         We had a discussion on LAC, LOC and No people's land.
·         We had a discussion on current ongoing issue in the country i.e., regarding the cancellation of coal blocks. Had a good understanding on this issue.
·         Learnt that diktat is an order which is imposed by someone in power. The phrase "tit for tat" which means equivalent retaliation also comes from the same root.
·         Learnt how important it is to have our own view when we read or come to know some news.
·         Learnt that more than reading, one has to study the newspaper.

·         Learnt about Markandey Katju, a retired justice of Supreme Court. Also came to know that Katju is a Kashmiri Pandit. He is the grandson of Dr. K. N. Katju, the former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.
·         Thyself means themselves. (Shakespeare’s English)
·         Learnt about how the economy as well as power shifted from UK to US i.e., from pounds to dollars (Pounds to Dollars was a speech given Dr T P Sasikumar in of the discussion forums in Kerala.)
·         India has the cheapest and the largest Postal department in the world.
·         Indian railway is the best in the world as it provides employment to many.
·         Puranas and Itihasas are the stories told in order to understand the essence of Vedas. Ramayana and Maharbaratha are the examples.
·         Understood how foolish are people who protest against cutting trees holding the pluck cards of papers made by cutting the trees.
·         The handle of an Axe is made from the branch of a tree and the same is used in cutting the trees.
·         Transgression means breaking of line or rule.
·         When one reiterates, that means he/she says it firmly.
·         Always try to settle in life, make a good career and then to help others. Hence, a student's main job is to learn.
·         When one breaks coconut in front of God, it means he is breaking his ego in front of God. The outermost shell of a coconut represents the ego of a person and the inner sweet water represents his sweet nature.
·         Understood how important it is to allot more budgets to the prestigious institutes like IITs, IIMs and other universities, in order maintain their standard.
·         Learnt that Charted Accountants are not under government.
·         The main thing I learnt from today's session is "EDUCATION IS NOT FOR GETTING JOB".
·         Like every other session learnt a lot from your experiences.

TUESDAY 4TH September / HP -EFIL

Things I've learnt :

1. India is the cheapest and largest postal department in the world
2. Meaning of Trangression is breaking rules
3. Diktat means government order.
4. One should not study for job , because as soon as you get the job u will stop studying.
5. Thyself means myself (mostly relating to group)
6. Reiterate means to firmly say something
7. One should love to work irrespective of the status of the job.
8. Meaning of Impedement is to obstruct something.
9. India is the best railways in the world giving employment to many.
10. COMMON POINT in all the sessions is to read the newspaper thoroughly and one should not just READ newspaper rather STUDY it.
11. How the currency got transformed from UK to US (relating by POUNDS to DOLLARS)
12. Puranas and Itihasas are just stories which are written to show the real essence of Vedas
13. If you are reading an article on politics , while dealing with the statements put forth by ministers, it is good to search for the article of the counterpart and then relating it.
14. You can help a person only when you are rich (even in terms of knowledge), you cannot beg from others and give him as he himself can do that.
15. The handle of an Axe is made from the branch of tree which itself is used to cut the same branch.
16. If you are reading any article, it is good to have a habit of reading the name of the author as it helps in relating to other articles in future.
17. Two kinds of ministries - Export & Resources ministry
18. Difference between Manusmrithi and Mahabharatha (as to VEDA and PURANA)
19. Justice Makarand's article who is a son of ex-CM of Madhya Pradesh.
20. Difference between Line of Control and Line of Actual Control.
Last but not the least , active participation from students makes the class innovative and I will try not to make u SICK sir Sasikumar Drtps

What it would not tell, however, is whether a common man in India is aware of the interpretation of the ‘western depiction of the Indian map’. Apparently, a majority of Indians too are unaware of the difference between ‘LOC’ (Line of Contro...
l), ‘LAC’ (Line of Actual Control) and India’s International Boundary.

Ideally, a map – prepared by any agency - should show a country’s international boundary, which, owing to the official and legal accession of the state of Jammu & Kashmir with India, means that any map of India should show the ENTIRE state of Jammu & Kashmir as its territory.

However many wars with Pakistan, one with China and about a decade of militancy in the Kashmir valley has ensured that the term 'international boundary' is now regularly equated with, at best, Line of Control (LOC) and at worst with Line of Actual Control (LAC).

Hello sir, My name is Vinay. Today(04-09-2012) session i studied about the india, china military exercises. In that, the defence minister A.K Antony accepted the invitation to visit Beijing next year. He communicated with Gen Liang Guanglie(...
defence minister of china). They talk around 90 minutes. The last visit to china was in 2006. And they talk about POK.

And we discussed about Coal block allocation policy. CBI registered five cases with scam in allocation of coal mines and CBI conducted the raids. On that discussion, i've faced some words like transgression, retrated. Transgression means act that goes against a law, i've seen in internet. and retrated means firmly said. And you said that the coal mines will be seen by export and resource ministry, finally the prime minister will give clearance the process. Today's coal scam is tended to PM. and I heard the IMG means Inter Ministerial Group in our discussion. and heard some words like impediment means obstruction and sacrosent means which can't be changed,, told by you.

And we discussed about cobra in the discussion and the question arises about shivaraatri which people take "upavaas" . I clearly understand the meaning of upavaas in this session that there should be the diet which is against normal diet. And we discussed about postal department in our country. India has largest postal department. I came to know the problems of postman in villages in this session.

In the discussion, you said about V.R. Krishna iyer. He is the former justice in supreme court born in malabar, kerala. He born on nov1st 1915 which i've seen in internet.
And the article of yesterday's news paper of justice in the higher education have read.

And we discussed about Chartered Accountant (CA) work in our country. Today i came to know that CA is totally private course. It is not recognized by governement of india. I also came to know that the work of CA in the companies that he/she can manipulate the accounts of his/her boss. And you gave me the example of CFL lamps about the working procedure of CA. From my own interest, I searched in the net the info.about CA."Chartered Accountants were the first accountants to form a professional body, initially established in Britain in 1854".
In CA, membership qualification course offered by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India(ICAI).In this, there are the courses of CPT(Common Proficiency Test),IPCC(Integrated Professional Competence Course). These are the three levels of examinations i.e., CPT,IPCC,CA.

The meaning of Ithihaasa is the dramatic representation of history. It means it's not completely true means it is a story..

we discussed about NGO's that some are corrupted and some are very good organizations that you're the member of SHOBHA organization, later you came out in it due to the corrupted members. And you told many inspiring stories about tony, your student in 1985, your sessions around the country, and about gopalakrishnan. And you told about Aralam forest which are located between karnataka and kerala.

I am very much thankful to god to have a guru like you. But My problem is I can't express my feelings and Ideas infront of you because of feeling uncomfortable. And I'll feel that my communication skills are weak and i'll feel shy and frightened when i'm speaking with others. I'll get stuck when i'm speaking with others, that's why i kept quite in today's session. Sorry for that Sir, If you give permission, then i'll active from next sessions. Thankyou sir. ------ POOLA VINAY

to me
we have discussed about news in hindu which says "china has never appointed a single soldier in pok( pakistan occupied kashmir)".
and china defence minister is  LIANG GUANGLIE and india's defence minister is A..K. ANTONY .
TRANSGRESSION  means the act of breaking a rule.
then we discussed about postal services in india and its relevance.

The Department of Posts, trading as India Post, is a government-operated postal system in India; it is generally referred to within India as "the post office".
the post service is the cheapest service.

As of 31 March 2011, the Indian Postal Service has 154,866 post offices, of which 139,040 (89.78%) are in rural areas and 15,826 (10.22%) are in urban areas. It has 25,464 departmental PO s and 129,402 ED BPOs. At the time of independence, there were 23,344 post offices, which were primarily in urban area.

The Indian Postal Services were established in the current format largely under the East India Company. It was first established under the name "Company Mail" in 1688. The first post office of the Company Post was established at Kolkata in the Dancing House Haveli of Navab Siraju Daula situated in Tank Squire of Kolkata on 01-04-1774.

dictat means to give firm commands.

people kill cobra because there are lots of cobras available if cobras are less in number then people who not have killed them...........
the outer shell of cobra is hard.
and inside soft sweet and energetic .
largest rail routes are in india
rail transport systems first appeared in England in the 1820s.

The Railway Age dawned in India on 16th. April 1853, when the first train ran from Bombay to Thana, a distance of 21 miles(33.81 Km.).

" The Stockholm and Darlington Railway" (1825) is recognised as the starting of railway age,.

once upon a time india is the only place where diamonds were found.

Historians estimate that diamond (vajra, Sanskrit for "adamantine") were discovered in India during the 4th century B.C., and India was one of the first countries to mine the gem. India's diamonds were prized for their size and beauty for hundreds of years.

if we are blessed with sufficient money then only we can help people .
we can't conduct a programe or a awarness session which we only doesn't know more about it.

ganesh chaithruthi is about disturbing people and making environment pollute.
we have a nice discussion about sir's guru and his speaches
we read an article written by ex jurdge
the article says about education system in india
accoding to me the standard of education is getting depleating because people are only studing to make money
which should not be done .
and in some private institutions the facult is geting jobs based on the topic which they present on the stage .(what i mean to say is if the facult may know only that topic well and he is getting a job and they are paid good salaries).
